This talk will focus on biologically inspired computational architectures for understanding human actions; it will draw inspiration from recent advances in neuroscience elucidating the mechanisms underlying human social cognition, and describe experiments towards implementing a computational ?mirror system?. It will subsequently describe some of the applications in robot learning by imitation, assistive robotic wheelchairs, and understanding multi-robot actions.
