How to extract a rar archive?

This simple step by step process will help you get started extracting rar archives.

Note: In order to properly extract rar archives all related rar files must be available. UnRarX also offers par2 functionality to help with recovery of missing rar archives. Please see additional questions for information on par2 recovery.

1. Launch UnRarX. 2. Drag rar archive into the UnRarX window. 3. Extraction begins automatically.

There are many different rar sequences. For rar sequences that include part numbers (i.e. part001.rar, part002.rar) using the first rar archive in the sequence gives the best results.
