Artificial Intelligence - Discriminating or including?

This seminar sheds light on the role of diversity in AI research and development and how AI systems become discriminating. The types of bias will be discussed, in particular also the designer bias, which is often forgotten. A framework is then presented to help us all conduct discrimination-free AI research.

This seminar is part of the series of conferences “Women in Tech”, initiated by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany last year and whose objective is to visualize the presence of female experts in the field of research, science, and technology as well as to promote networking between German experts and their counterparts in Barcelona.
