Being a Data Scientist at DecathlonUK while Discovering and Interpreting Biased Concepts in Online Communities at King's College London

In this talk I will describe what working as a data science at Decathlon is like. What are the daily tasks we face as Data Scientist, technologies used and methodologies applied, and present a few interesting projects we are currently working on. If time allows, we will then jump to our last paper accepted with the team @ King's College London, "Discovering and Interpreting Biased Concepts in Online Communities", in which I will present a data-driven method to automatically discover and help interpret biased concepts encoded in word embeddings in the context of NLP and AI Fairness and Algorithmic bias.
