GETTING THE FUTURE. RIGHT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS
Report of the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency on ‘Doing AI the European Way’, with a focus on protecting fundamental rights in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
The Report argues for a legal obligation for those who employ AI (in the broad sense) to conduct a Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment, targeting rights of access to justice, rights to social security and social assistance, rights to consumer protection and rights to good administration, next to the more conventionally associated rights of human dignity, privacy and data protection and the right to equal treatment and non-discrimination.
