Agent based simulation and social norms marked Daniel's scientific journey while his time at the IIIA-CSIC. At the time he combined diverse research areas such as agent based simulation, game-theory, social networks analysis, experimental economics and human-computer interaction, in order to understand better how societies can improve their self-governance. After graduating, he moved into applied research investigating how empirical data could be used to improve all those methods.
All this happened during the emergence of a new discipline that ended up being "the sexiest job of the 21st century". In this talk we'll review the key elements to make data-products for companies to improve their decision making, using real examples from companies.
