Building Blocks for Developing Metacognitive Features in Intelligent Systems

The main objectives of this workshop is to provide a brief introduction to the main underlying concepts in metacognition developed in cognitive science, psychology and other behavior sciences, explore how they are applied in the development of computational approaches, present concrete building blocks that can be leveraged for metacognition, and discuss areas in which more progress is needed for developing robust intelligent systems that are equipped with metacognitive features.
