Chatbots are AI-powered systems that utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) to facilitate tasks such as information retrieval, customer support, and virtual assistance. Among them, educational chatbots have seen growing adaptation for their ability to enhance learning experiences by providing interactive lessons, personalized tutoring, and administrative support. The literature highlights advancements in educational chatbots in several areas, including personalized learning and adaptive feedback. Despite these advancements, educational chatbots still face challenges in collaborative learning environments, particularly in facilitating group work. This work proposes the planning module of a chatbot that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to support students in task organization and collaboration.
